Dear
Resident,
ista
North America will be your utility billing company. We are
the global leader in the billing and management of gas, electricity,
water, heating and cooling energy consumption. We have more
than 100 years of billing experience in the utility sub-metering
industry; our mission is to provide the highest value of quality
to our customers.
You
will be involved in the U.S. Army's Resident Utility Direct
Pay Program's mock billing phase. During this time, ista
North America, along with the U.S. Army and your Family Housing
Management Company, will monitor your utility consumption.
This period will be used by the U.S. Army and your Family
Housing Management Company to ensure the program is fair and
equitable to all residents. There will be no monthly charges
during this monitoring phase.
You
will receive a Consumption Report that will not need payment;
however, actual billing will begin 6 to 12 months after receiving the first
Consumption Report. When billing begins, residents who conserve will
receive a credit or rebate and those who exceed their baseline
will be responsible for paying for the excess utility consumption.
Conservation
benefits you by allowing the U.S. Army to direct more money
to housing programs. A significant portion of the savings
will go directly toward housing improvements. Conservation
also decreases the national dependence on foreign oil and
conforms to our national policies. Through individual submetering,
you are in control of the amount of consumption for which
you are billed. You can also adjust your monthly usage and
take advantage of the savings. By monitoring your usage, you
help keep your monthly utility costs down and you'll also
be doing your part to conserve, which benefits our environment.
For additional conservation
information please select the Conservation Tips icon at the top of this page. If you would

We
look forward to serving you and your family.
